B5 Campaign put on hold

Some of you have heard and some have not so I decided to make it official. I have been running our Saturdays for a LONG time. I can’t remember the last time I took a break. I did not even take a break during my break up 12 year ago. But I think it’s probably time.

I am not taking a break because of the game itself, anything you guys did or anything like that. I think the campaign has great potential to continue and I think you guys could have fun with it. But unfortunately because of work and real life, I really can not dedicate the time I want to, to make it what it could be. The last few sessions, I have been struggling along to put something together and it has showed, I think.

So I am going to take a break from running for a few months. Will I get back to B5… maybe. Depends on how I feel. I may convert everything to a new system – True20 – and start all over again with new characters. I may go back to old school gaming with some version of Star Frontiers. Who knows.

All I know now is that I am going to take a break. I am thinking maybe sometime after MACE West as a time I get back to things, if you guys are up for it.

I know that John Reavis is wanting to run a game. I can’t promise that I can be there for every session but I can probably do a few. I have several projects at home that i need to take care of and with work as busy as it is, my weekends are the only time I can do them.

I also want to do a board game day at my parents house, maybe sometime in Feb. I will let you know more about that later.
