BSG: Is it Earth?

OK, the big reveal is over. They made it to earth and it is a nuclear slag heap. Or IS it Earth? That’s the big question.

On the bright side, at least it is not Earth in the 1980s.

There is very little to analyze but I would say that this is not really Earth. The obvious plot is that it is a Cylon plot to get all the humans in one spot to attack.

This could be another world – perhaps a Cylon homeworld where they fought the final five in a rebellion like the one they are in now.

It could be an Earth colony. Maybe the Cylons have been raging a war with them too.

In the end, Ron Moore said that they would find Earth and that’s where it would end. They have 10 episodes left, so I do not think it is Earth.
