Mutated Dr. E Craft

After stat’ing out the Last Guard, I wasn’t sure what to do for the finale. I felt The Last Guard was good enough for a finale. After discussing it with a colleague at work, he suggested I make one that moved. GENIUS!

I took one of those Halloween spider skeletons I bought at a Halloween sale, and started covering it with air-dry clay. Then hot-glue. I added little squinky balls to add some effect, and that gave me the idea of it giving birth to swarms of little ones. I had pack of little spiders I painted up and used them as the babies. I also used the tips off of skeleton fingers, of which I had a pack of, for teeth. I wanted to preserve the big gaping mouth and have come commonality between the two creatures. I was very happy with the result.
