RPGaDay2017 #17: Which RPG have you owned the longest but not played?
RPGaDay2017 #16: Which RPG do you enjoy using as is?
Short and simple, I really don’t do “as is” because one of the reasons I got into RPGs was my need to adapt things, convert things and realize the things I read in books, seen on screen and imagined myself in a game setting.
RPGaDay2017 #15: Which RPG do you enjoy adapting the most?
RPGaDay2017 #14: Which RPG do you prefer for open-ended campaign play?
RPGaDay2017 #13: Describe a game experience that changed how you play
This is a very deep question. Change does not always come from good experiences, at least in my experience. It is hard for me to nail down a single game experience that changed me play, though. What is a game experience? A session? A campaign. a convention? Or simply a gaming conversation? All of the…
RPGaDay2017 #12: Which RPG has the most inspiring interior art?
One game comes to mind. Hands down. I bought it because of the art. It was fantastic. However, the game system was … at best.. clunky. The game was Alpha Omega, published in 2008 (why does that seem so long ago now). A post-apocalyptic setting with angels and demons (like the series Dominion). It had amazing…

RPGaDay2017 #10: Where do you go for RPG Reviews?
I used (and still occasionally do) to write reviews for games, including RPGs and I was not always kind. But being on the inside, you realize how subjective these reviews are. People play RPGs for different reasons. Some love story. Some love the tactical side. Some love the character development. So I might like a certain game for its potential for story but the system may be crappy for a person that loves tactics.
RPGaDay2017 #9: What is a good RPG to play for about 10 sessions?
10 sessions for me is a short campaign. I have done 3 to 4 sessions as a short campaign and I have done 10 to 12. 10 Sessions has time to develop story and some character development. I think players could accomplish one or two short term goals but nothing epic. I probably am going to sound like a broken record but I have two primary systems for short campaigns like this.
