Up from the Ashes TourCharlotte, NCJan 9, 1991Don Dokken at the Palomino Club, Charlotte, NC. The solo tour after Dokken broke up. Had a great time, got up close to the stage.

Bought two tickets for my wife for birthday/anniversary/etc. Felt cool to get back to my country roots. I really enjoyed it.

Scott Stapp/Sunflower Dead/Messer10 out of 10Scott still has it. He's an amazing singer. It was a very small venue ona Tuesday night but made it more fun for us. I think Scott deserves better but he's bouncing back from a lot. Great music!

Disturbed - Indestructible (CD Album)9 out of 10Very good album. First few songs are just awesome, and the rest are pretty good.
Dokken - Lightening Strikes Again (CD Album)6 out of 10Dokken is simply not the same anymore. Don`s voice is starting to show its age. 55 is pretty old to try to hit those high notes. The album itself is a lot better than the last one, but I can`t get past Don`s voice.
Day of Fire 10 out of 10Very good Christian value based music. Great vocals and guitars!
12 Stones10 out of 10Also a good band, similar to Day of Fire.
Godsmack IV (CD Album)8 out of 10Better than the last one. More like the first two.
Tool 10,000 Days (CD Album)7 out of 10Interesting. A few good songs, but not quite as good as the last one.
