Stexi are an alien creature strangely resembling a 4-eyed terrestrial chicken head floating in the mechanical suit that contains their natural habitat. No one knows how they developed technology or the ability to made the suits they live in. All have strong psionic abilities and are very intelligent. Most believe that they are an ancient race or perhaps an ancient race experiment. They now live on various worlds in the Near Colonies and Inner Frontier, but they do not have any known homeworld. It is believed they originated from a gas giant.
