Terraxian Bulwark-Class Battle Tank
The Bulwark is typical of Terraxian armored warfare: visually primitive by Confederation standards, brutally overbuilt, and considerably more sophisticated than its riveted hull suggests. Thick overlapping armor plates, redundant mechanical systems, broad tracks, and relatively simple field-repair requirements reflect centuries of warfare between the city-states of Vesperion III.
Terraxians regard elegance as something that gets soldiers killed.

Weapons
Heavy Cannon: Range 100/200/400, Damage 5d10 (IV), AP – , RoF 1, Shots 20. The Bastion’s primary weapon is optimized for destroying armored vehicles and breaching fortifications. Its comparatively short range reflects Terraxian doctrine, where armored warfare frequently takes place among fortifications, ridgelines, trenches, and dense urban terrain.
Coaxial Medium Autocannon: Range 50/100/200, Damage 4d8 (II), AP 6, RoF 4, Shots 80. Used against infantry, light vehicles, cavalry, and other targets that don’t warrant expenditure of the main gun’s plasma ammunition.
Commander’s Machine Gun: Range 12/24/48, Damage 2d10, AP 4, RoF 3, Shots 300.
Special Abilities
Tracked Locomotion: Ignore all effects of Difficult Ground.
Advanced Targeting System: Despite its archaic appearance, the Bulwark incorporates modern thermal optics, laser rangefinding, stabilization, and fire-control systems. The vehicle ignores 2 points of penalties for Range, Speed, Scale, and illumination when its crew makes attacks with its mounted weapons. This does not eliminate penalties from Cover or other circumstances.
Sealed: The Bulwark is environmentally sealed against smoke, dust, chemical agents, and similar battlefield contaminants and provides its crew with climate control appropriate for Vesperion III’s severe winters. The tank still requires an appropriate atmosphere unless specifically fitted for operations in vacuum or other hostile environments.
Smoke Launchers: The Bulwark carries banks of smoke and obscurant launchers. These use the normal rules for smoke and obscurants rather than creating a unique vehicle subsystem.
Terraxian Redundancy: Bastions are deliberately designed around redundant mechanical and electrical systems and carry extensive onboard tools and replacement components. Crew members add +2 to Repair rolls made to repair the Bastion’s Wounds or Critical Hits in the field, provided they have access to the tank’s onboard tool kit.
Exposed Tracks: The Bastion’s immense track assemblies are exceptionally rugged but difficult to protect without compromising the vehicle’s mobility.
An attacker may make a Called Shot (−4) against either track. The attack must be made with a Heavy Weapon and must equal or exceed the Bastion’s Toughness after applying Armor and AP.
On a successful hit, the targeted track is damaged and the Bastion’s Top Speed is halved. If its other track is subsequently damaged, the Bulwark is immobilized.
A damaged track may be restored with a Repair roll and appropriate tools and parts. Terraxian Redundancy applies to this roll.
