Cybernetics, version 1
The process of combining the power of machine and the versatility of flesh is cybernetics. For example, replacing bone and muscle with high density surgical steel and nano-tech enhanced smart-fibers to increase strength. There are four types or Series of cybernetics available to the public (primarily, the rich public). It is required that the cybernetics be registered to Star Law under the Frontier Enhanced Armor and Weapons Act or 103 fy.
SERIES A cyborging
This type of cybernetics replaced bone tissue and muscles to increase Strength and Stamina. This builds on the existing strength and stamina of the person, increasing them both by 50% (x1.5 Cybernetics Multiplier.) The operation costs 750,000 credits and the patient has a STA% chance of surviving the operation. The operation and time of recovery is equal the amount of points increase to STR/STA in days.
SERIES B cyborging
This type of cybernetics is a step above Series A because it electronically increases the reaction of the nano-tech in the micro-fiber musculature. This increases the STR/STA both by 100% (x2 Cybernetics Multiplier) and increases DEX 50% (x1.5 Cybernetics Multiplier.) The operation costs 2.5 million credits and the patient has a (STA – 5)% chance of surviving the operation. The operation and time of recovery is equal 1.5 times the amount of points increase to STR/STA in days.
SERIES C cyborging
This type of cybernetics is a step above Series B. This increases the STR/STA with a x2.2 Cybernetics Multiplier and increases DEX x2 Cybernetics Multiplier Also RS is increased by a factor of x1.5. The operation costs 10 million credits and the patient has a (STA – 10)% chance of surviving the operation. The operation and time of recovery is equal 2.5 times the amount of points increase to STR/STA in days.
SERIES D cyborging
This series does everything Series C does as well as adds up to 40 points of subdermal armor to the person. it costs 10 million credits plus 200,000 per 5 points of armor added. 1 month per 5 points is added rto recovery time and the change of survivial is lowers to (STA – 15) %
