Someone once said, “A sucker is born every minute.” The way things have been lately, it seems like they are born every second now. You are a con artist, plain a simple. Anyone stupid enough to lose their money to you deserves to. It tough times, and you live by the simple rule “Survival of the slickest”.

Hacker
The Internet was once called the information superhighway. Well then consider yourself the highway robber, road rage and all. You love to slip into the data stream and see what trouble you can drum up. You use second rate equipment, but who can afford those new corporate cybernetics these days. You would settle for a run-of-the-mill terminal any day.

Cyborg Escapee Classes
When choosing a Cyborg Escapee, a player can choose from a specific set of classes: Empathic Drone, Hacker Drone, Stealth Drone, and Warrior Drone. Listed below are only the differences. If the particular item is not listed, assume that it’s the same as the generic Cyborg Escapee in the rules.
Empathic Drone
Empathic Drones were low-level Empathy rating Humans modified with enhancements focused on Empathy. This can be dangerous, creating occasional psychotic spells, or sudden flashbacks. The victims usually suffered traumatic subconscious damage during his/her operation.
Class Restrictions: None
Entry: EMP of 1 or less.
First Terms:
EMP +2 (Permanent Empathic Implants)
Any combination of 3 levels from basic Empathic Skills
Willpower 2
Subsequent Terms: 6 levels in the following; no level higher than 2
Any Basic Empathic Skill

Special:
No money or Secondary activities. When facing a Darkling of any kind, roll Difficult: Willpower. Failure: Player falls into some kind of psychotic episode, determined by the GM.
Hacker Drone
Hacker Drones were meant to sit in corporate basements and hack into rival corps-systems, 24-7, with little management or maintenance. They are modified with the latest in cybernetics and cybernetting wetware, and some were modified with Dark Tech wetware.

* Cybernet Implants are measured in levels like skills, but has no Attribute. They enhance the user’s ability to manipulate the Internet of Dark Conspiracy, through neural interfaces, virtual reality, and direct-thought-to-data-commands. Dark Ones have their own versions, and use more organic parts than human technology does. Each level in Cybernet Implant gives a +1 bonus to Computer Skills including Computer Empathy and any skill that can be translated into the virtual world of the Dark America internet. This is left to the judgement of the GM, allowing the GM to create his own conventions of VR. At the same time, these implants effect the users Empathy with the rest of the world.For each level of Cybernet Implants, the character receives a –1 to any other Empathic skill attempt that is not Computer Empathy. Levels in those skills also cost extra – +1 for every level in Cybernet Implants.
Cybernet implants include a data-jack placed near the cerebral cortex, as well as the wiring necessary to jack in to computer systems. Usually, a large portion of the victims past memory is lost when the internal implants are installed.

Stealth Drone
Stealth Drones were meant to me Security and Infiltration experts used in Corporate espionage or assassination. Some S-Drones were slated to a second term in W-Drone enhancement to make themselves that much more lethal.

* – Cyberstealth Implants: Cyberstealth Implants are measured in levels like skills, but has no Attribute. They enhance the users ability sneak and infiltrate high security zones. Dark Ones have their own versions, and use more organic parts than human technology does. Each level in Cyberstealth
Implant gives a +1 bonus to Stealth and any skill that can used to enhance his stealth ability (Disguise, Stalking, and Tracking). At the same time, these implants effect the users Empathy.For each level of Cyberstealth
Implants, the character receives a –1 to any other Empathic skill attempt.Cyberstealth Implants include stealth suit skin , allowing the user to mask his electromagnetic signature from modern sensors, as well as Sonic dampners that soften any noises made by the user.

Warrior Drone
Warrior Drones are the basic Cyborg Escapee template in the Player’s Guide, pg. 54 (2nd Ed). No changes are made to this template.
