With me diving deeper into SF with Savage Worlds, I decided to revisit some of my ideas previously covered in the True 20 version of Star Drive Frontiers. With that, I decided to revise the timeline to fit that setting and expand on humans a little more. I hated how they screwed up Zebulon and Volturnus in the Zebulon’s Guide so I have revised this to fix that and also fit the new ideas I had for humans.
I also borrowed from an old Dragon Magazine article that converted SF to Alternity. This article actually assigned home worlds to the major races and I placed them within the Expanse. I ignored the home world information that was in d20 Future.

| 6 fy | The First Dramune War: The Dramune War was a conflict between the worlds of Inner Reach and Outer Reach in the Dramune System. Much of the conflict stemmed from ideological differences, and a growing drug epidemic on Inner Reach by the infamous Outer Reach crime czar and pirate king known as The Malthar. |
| 8 fy | Cassidine Development Corporation is founded on Triad. The creation and growth of mega-corps proceeds at an ever-accelerating pace. |
| 11 fy | The Vrusks turn over Lynchpin system, a previously unknown system, to the UPF for development as a military outpost to protect that sector of the Frontier. The Lynchpin system is a military secret until the middle of SWII. 12 f.y. Frontier ships enter Rim space for |
| 12 fy | Commerce routes established between the Rim and the Frontier |
| 14 fy | The Sundown system is discovered and a UPF research outpost established. |
| The Blue Plague | |
| 17 fy | The Blue Plague – named after the large blue welts that appear about the face and extremities – begins to sweeps the Frontier. Scientists believe it was brought from the Sundown system, originating perhaps from an alien vessel that crashed on Starmist. |
| 20 fy | Five star systems become so infested with the Blue Plague that the Council of Worlds requests all races to recognize a permanent quarantine of these four star systems. A spaceship seen leaving one of these systems is to be destroyed by Spacefleet before it has a chance to spread the plague any further. Alpha – Formerly Civaonia, it contained the Human colony Civaonia-3 formed by Quiveran Humans. Primarily an agricultural world for the Prenglar system, it was a young colony that populated 150,000 humans and a small percentage of other races. It was best known for the Civoka fruit that originated in it tropical regions. Beta – Human and Yazirian colony of Grauclite, containing the single colony – a growing mining world Grauclite-2. It was projected to be a great source of Tarscanium, a rare metal used in Void Engines. Delta – The Onderon star system, another primarily human system colonized by Quiveran humans, it was in its early stages of development. It had a potential for agriculture as well as mining. The primary world was called Olnuria. The royal noble Quiveran family Crawhallus were all but wiped out by the Blue Plague on this world. Gamma – Colonized by combination of Human and Dralasite, this is the first recorded case of a Dralasite contracting the disease. By this time, it had highly mutated. The system was called Hustrum, and the primary world was Elrion, named after the Dralasite who discovered the world. Epsilon – The final system to get infected – or at least that was what the Vrusks claim. It was a previously unknown Vrusk system but revealed by the Vrusks once it was infected and quarantined. The system was called Zik’Kror and the planet was Xi’Kaetar. Conspiracy theorists believe that the actual origin was this world and a anti-human Vrusk faction created it. They used the convenient discovery of the alien artifact on Sundown as a cover. |
| 22 fy | Hargut (Gruna Garu), Pale (Truane’s Star), and Gollywog (White Light) suffer massive population losses due to the Blue Plague. All three planets are temporarily quarantined. Studies are suppressed that majority of the casualties are human, |
| 23 fy | The Medical Services Organization is founded. Funding pours in from most of the Frontier worlds. Gretl Grohn (Dalasite) is named as the MSO Chief Surgeon. |
| 24 fy | A vaccine for the Blue Plague is discovered by the MSO Center on Morgaine’s World. |
| 25 fy | First contact with the Mechanons is made as a crystalline sleeper ship enters Truane’s Star. They are settle on New Pale, in a remote desert on an isolated continent. The settlement grows quickly but the remained peaceful to this day. |
| 27-28 fy | The Blue Plague is eradicated in most of the Frontier. However Alpha through Epsilon remain isolated and it is unknown if any colonists survived. Tougher restrictions are placed on flora/fauna trade to prevent a similar outbreak. Trade restrictions cause the growth of a black market, where pirates, smugglers and thieves thrive within the Frontier. Star Law is given jurisdiction over planetary imports and exports. |

| 50 fy | PGC and Streel wage the first major corporate war that lasts 10 years, on the planet Laco (Dixon’s Star). |
| 54 fy | The Mechanon Revolt. The anti-organic faction moves to take power. Mechanons on New Pale revolt. Only through quick action on the part of Star Law is a full-scale war avoided. |
| 57 fy | The Waller Nexus system is discovered by the UPF survey ship Eleanor Moraes. The only habitable planet, Mahg Mar, is the site of the first UPF mutiny. |
| 60 fy | UPF steps in and puts a halt to the Lacotian War. Rhianna system is surveyed and colonized by the Cassidine Development Corporation as a secret research and monitoring station. |

| 77 fy | Mechan vies for acceptance into the UPF. The UPF and the World Coucil block the measure, unsure of the Mechanons as a true sentient species. |
| Frontier Reformation | |
| 78 | In what is scene by many as a major overreach, the UPF and Council of Worlds enact tough new guidelines for legal ownership of a system or planet. Triggered the many Corporate Wars and the Mechanon situation, the guidelines are designed to prevent these occurrences again. There is talk of succession from many of the outer worlds, forming the Outer World Confederation, primarily made up of Human and Yazirian worlds.. |
| Second Sathar War | |
| 80 fy | First Wave: The Sathar Alpha Fleet capture, enslave and fortify an independent system between Solar Major and Solar Minor, originally dubbed Laoxus, renaming it Outpost #1. Second Wave: A second wave of Sathar ships (Sathar Beta Fleet) swarm through the Xagyg Nebula, attacking other independent worlds along its fringes. UPF Military Expansion: The UPF establishes the Landfleet, the first interplanetary army raised on the Frontier. |
| 81 fy | Battle of Solar Minor: Sathar Alpha invades Frontier space at Solar Minor taking control swiftly. Battle for Madderly’s Star: Sathar Alpha attacks Madderly’s Star and are repelled towards Fromeltar. Battle of Xagyg: Task Force Cassidine crushes the Sathar Beta in the Xagyg Nebula, but with heavy losses. The Rim Coalition dispatches the Fleet to join the fight. First Battle of Prenglar: Sathar Fleet Beta scatters or destroys most elements of Task Force Prenglar. Alpha joins Beta. Second Battle of Prenglar: The Sathar Fleets then proceeds into the Frontier and is engaged by Strike Force Nova. The remaining Task Force Prenglar ships return and join the battle. This running battle results in the eventual withdrawal of Sathar Fleet. Task Force Prenglar set course to regroup at K’aken-Kar. Battle of Moonworld: Sathar Fleet attempts to circum-navigate the Great Morass and is eventually met by the UPF fleet at Moonworld. The Battle ends in early 82 fy with nearly half the Sathar Fleet destroyed and the rest retreating to regroup at Outpost #1. |
| 82 fy | Rim Blockade: The Coalition Fleet Command discovers the Sathar supply route around the Xagyg Nebula and proceed to destroy all incoming Sathar supply ships. |
| 83 fy | A Coalition deep space scout discovers Sathar Outpost #1. Plans for the Battle for Outpost begin. Three incidents occur that effect the planning. All three incidents combine to assure that Outpost #1 is not taken by orbital bombardment. (1) The Mist Stone, a sacred Capellan icon, is stolen by Sathar agents and smuggled into Outpost #1. (2) The original copy of Reflections of a Humble Servant is also stolen and smuggled into Outpost #1. This work is considered by many to be the definitive philosophy of Dralasite civilization. (3) Sathars enslave and transport a vast majority of the populations of Circe and Kir’Kut (Solar Minor) to Outpost #1. Liberation of Solar Minor: Strike Force Nova retakes Solar Minor. The fighting is fierce and half of the Strike Force and all of the Sathar holding force is destroyed. The Battle of the Blockade: A reinforcement fleet from Sathar Space is challenged by the Coalition Fleet. Both sides suffer heavy causalities, with the Sathars suffering the most on the land battles. |
| 84-85 fy | Dralasites and the Rim Coalition insist on a diplomatic mission be sent to Outpost #1 to negotiate a surrender as the UPF Fleets converge on all sides of the system. In hindsight, most realized that the Sathar simply used this time to consolidate and repair their forces. |
| 86 fy | The Frontier alliance forces (UPF and Coalition fleets) gather at Solar Minor as talks break down. The delegation does not return from their last meeting and they are presumed dead. |
| 87 fy | The Battle of Five Fleets. In a pincer action, the Alliance fleets attack the Outpost #1 system. The entire year is spent destroying the remnants of the Sathar Fleet, the minefields orbiting the planet, and the forces on the planet. |
| 85-90 fy | The Siege of Outpost: UPF Space Fleet blockades Outpost #1 while Landfleet invades the planet. The land battles take two years to complete. At the end of hostilities, no Sathar survive. |
| Post War Era | |
| 91 fy | After the war, many Rim races, primarily Ifshnits, remain in the Frontier. The Free Merchant Guild established byu Ifshnits created a trade system throughout the UPF planets. They will become so firmly entrenched in Frontier life that the mega-corps will not be able to force them out, and eventually accept them as another mega-corp. Zebulon University expands to various planets with Vrusk support, spreading knowledge (some say Vrusk skewed knowledge) throughout the Frontier. Campuses are established on Gollywog (White Light), New Pale (Truane’s Star) and Kdikit (Madderly’s Star). |
| 92 fy | Solar Minor resettled. |

| 98 fy | Rim-Frontier Trade & Defense Accords: The Rim and the UPF enter into multiple defense treaties and economic trade agreements, but the Coalition gives severe warnings to all mega-corps that their militancy will not be tolerated in the Rim. The Frontier now officially includes the Rim Worlds. |
| Age of Adventure | |
| 100 fy | The Age of Adventure for the Rim regions begins as hundreds of exploratory vessels are sent out to make the unknown regions surrounding the Rim. The Grand Celebration, commemorating 100 years of the UPF treaty lasts the entire year. Gala social functions, parades, and celebrations are occur on every planet in the UPF and even some in the Rim. |
| 102 fy | Exploration and mapping of the Lesser Morass Nebula and the Rim-side of the Xagyg Dust Nebula begins. |
| 105 fy | With the danger of the Corporate Wars and Piracy growing in the Rim, Star Law is given equal jurisdiction in both the Rim and UPF systems. . |
| 106 fy | The Mechanons are officially inducted into the UPF as wards of the Federation – a client species with fewer political rights then the average citizen. Their society was deemed too unstable to allow full citizenship. While most Mechanons accept this as a necessary step toward independence, some underground rebellious factionz swear to avenge this dishonor. Many of these are suspected of being Sathar agents. |
| 107 fy | The Association Of Intergalactic Power Suppliers (A.I.P.S.) is formed. It is the first mega-corp voluntarily created by a cartel of companies in an effort to resist merger or take-over attempts by existing mega-corps. |
| 108 fy | Star Law is given the authority to hire freelance agents to combat Corporate Wars, and the rising range of crime all over the Rim and fringe worlds of the Frontier. Corporate Wars evolve into smaller skirmishes between mercs and freelances as well as covert intelligence wars. |
| 109 fy | Joint Coalition and Federation forces join together to venture outside the known regions of space to settle further independent and uncharted worlds. UPF Fleet sends out probes to watch for any further Sathar activity and perhaps find their home-world. |
| 110 fy | A human assassin fails in his attempt to shoot Queanee Kloonanu, chairman of the Council of Worlds. A small bio-tech device is found attached to the human’s back. Studies show it to be some kind of intelligent, parasitic organism with the same genetic make-up as Sathar specimens. Authorities believe it to be a new Sathar method of controlling agents. |
