1.01 Humans of Praxium
(Under construction)
Humans
Humans by in large have some common traits. Most live longer than modern humans – varying from 150 years to 300 years and some even longer. They are more resilient and less susceptible to disease.
Humanity was divided into multiple factions, all genetic variants of original Terran Humans. Primary of these were the following:
Terrans
Humans that colonized the planet known today as Terra II, after humanity finally abandoned Earth. They are traditionally very resilient, adaptable and adventurous but also independent, freedom-minded and stubborn.
Praxians
Praxians are the humans that were sent from all the other various factions and colonized parts of Praxium, eventually intermixing and evolving beyond the factions they originated from. Due to some genetic manipulation by the Praxian Ministry, these humans are taller, larger stature and capable of great feats of physical prowess over their other human brethren.
Keplians
Keplians are a loose collection of humans that originated from the various Kepler worlds that humanity colonized. They are fragmented and some resent being called Keplians but most have similar features and cultures. The most successful and proliferative people of the Keplians are shorter and stockier than standard humans. They tend to be sensitive to yellow star light and prefer darker regions of the planets like caves and tunnels. The original colonists were sent to some of the more harsh and gravity heavy worlds and were skilled miners and engineers.
Proxinians
These humans originated from a stellar regime that blossomed from the Alpha Centauri/Proxima Centauri. Over several millennia, the Proximus Federation formed and rivaled the Terran’s own empire in power and size. Many wars were fought between the Terrans and the Proxians, as both regimes evolved and devolved. Proxians are a proud people, also very independent especially from their Terran origins. Most Proxinians are tell and gaunt, with pale skin. They also benefited from the era of humanity when they experimented with immortality serums and tend to live longer than most.
Wolvians
These humans descended from those that colonized the Wolf 1061 and neighboring systems. They were also rather harsh and heavy gravity with primarily dim Red Dwarf stars and the like. Wolvian benefited in advancements in genetic engineering to adapt better for these worlds, and while they are stockier than most humans, they are not as short as Keplians. After the collapse, many of the worlds went through a difficult barbaric stage which gave birth to fanatical religious factions and planetary wars long forgotten. Now they are united under a single religions and tend to adhere to their older barbaric ways.
Gliesians
The Gliesians descended from Human colonist that reached out to various worlds towards the end of the first great Terran Empire. The colonized various worlds in the Gliese systems. They succeeded from the Terran Empire first when it began to collapse and made no contact with it’s successors afterwards. It was only when the Praxium Imperium formed did they appear. They claimed to have evolved further than any human had and tapped powers of the mind that no others had. The Gliesians claimed they were contacted by an ancient race who helped them evolve and develop their technologies. Some of their technology appeared as magic to many and they helped the Imperium grow technologically to levels never thought possible. Once the Imperium reached it’s peak, the
