I’ve Never… is a new Board Game (Drinking Game) from Ini LLC.
Every once in a while I get a game from GR that is just different. This would be one of those.
From the website: “Did you ever play the “I’ve Never…” or “Never Have I Ever…” drinking game in college or high school?”
This is a game of truth. The board and playing pieces are really just a mechanic to get people to admit to crazy things and if they are drinking to get them drunk. This game is unashamed to admit that it is a drinking game. The board is made up of spaces with some saying “Draw an I’ve Never card.” The goal is to be the first to reach the end.
There are 100 “I’ve Never…” cards that ask some intimate questions about life, sex and the wild and crazy things people do. They give you an option at the bottom. If the statement is false, you can move as many spaces as the card indicates. If true, you drink and play goes to the right. Youngest player starts. There is very little else to the game. The heart of the game is what is on the card and whether or not you and the other players want to tell the truth about it. Examples of the “I’ve Never” cards are … I’ve never had sex on a waterbed or I’ve never had sex in public or I’ve never made out with a teacher.
In conclusion, in some circles, this game can get people REALLY drunk. In others, it can be very boring. I can tell you this – I personally would never play this with family members. It is not exactly a family game. This is especially the case with one of the variants described at the bottom of the rule page. This game has great potential for expansion as well. I can easily see other card packs coming out with even more risqué questions. It is an interesting game and can be really fun with a group of close friends or open-minded strangers.
