My verdict on Sy-fy Monday Night Premiers

Eureka … meh … it’s entertaining and occasionally inspired but right now it looks like more of the same.

Warehouse 13 … meh… I like this show OK, but mostly because I like the character interaction and not so much the plot lines. It feels like a light hearted Friday the 13th The Series plot-wise – been there, done that. Bringing in the new guy was interesting but still in Wait-and-see mode for this show.

Alphas … the new show on the block… impressed me. I thought it was going to be another Heroes but they went with a more intelligent approach. Now, where are they going to go with it? I see a lot of limitations, but it has potential. I like the characterization as well.

Still not getting my true sci-fi fix, but that probably won’t happen until they come up with a good series like Stargate SG-1 or Farscape again.
