Star Trek: Ascendancy (MACE West 2019)

This is a very fun game but I did not enjoy playing the Klingons.  They are a hard race to play because you are forced to attack and the consequences of attack can be harsh.

I played the Klingons and I should have attacked the Ferengi when I had the chance.  They were the most ideal targets and I should have seen that.  They produce ships like mad.  But they got the special rule that converted production to research right at the right time, and turned their weapons up so they could not miss.  They were unstoppable.

I still love this game.
