Human Sword of Lexius
Murder Victim #1 House Li Halan, Orthodox Church, Synecullum
One of the murder victims on Byzantium Secundus. Victim of Wrathspawn.
Synecullum Agent; House Li Halan Knight and Sword of Lextius, Kelevar swore loyalty to the Church as penance for a perceived crime his family committed.
Publicly, Kelevar was a Knight of the Orthodox Church – a Sword of Lextius. He was trusted bodyguard to many bishops. He was also a revered Knight in Li-Halan, and if he had not pursued his career with the church, they say he would have been a Lord in Li-Halan by now.
He swore his allegiance to the Church as a Sword of Lextius as part of his family’s penance to the Church for a crime they were accused of. Even though he felt it was an unjust accusation, he as the youngest in his family was bound by honor to serve this duty. The circumstances behind the accusations were covered up and kept secret between the Church and House Li-Halan. Some say there was suspected antinomy practices within the Kelevar family. Unbeknownst to Sir Kelevar, after 3 years in service of the church, his superiors in the Orthodox Church have recently been considering releasing of his obligation. His death was quite untimely.
Secretly, the Synecullum has recently recruited him as an agent. The Synecullum has recently initiated a campaign to collect any and all dirt on all church officials. Bishop Tardokin was Sir Kelevar’s assigned target.
Notable Traits: Known as a friendly and loyal person. Family has a dark secret that he separates himself from. Not on the best terms with the rest of his family.
Marital Status: Single, but was to be married to a young Li-Hilan girl before he committed to the Church. She still awaits him.
The vicious Wrathspawn killed Kelevar. His body was wrenched and butchered nearly unrecognizable. He was clawed by something large and strong, so most people assume it was a Vorox. It was not reported, but strange runes were carved into the flesh of the knight. No one has made a concerted effort to decipher them. (They are in an old language The Master taught the Highbreed; an old Earth language
“We are the disciples of the of He who redeems the unforgiven; He who resurrects the tainted and flawed; He who has channeled the energies of life to bring us life to spread his Word. We have arisen to save Them from our Enemies.”)
